QUALITY PROCESS
Not all shark cartilage powder is the same. R3 shark cartilage powder has been processed using world-class, certified quality processes and a purpose-designed manufacturing facility to maintain the highest possible therapeutic benefits of these products.
Intensive research has enabled the processor to develop the unique organic process that cleanly removes shark flesh from the cartilage, dries the cleaned cartilage and mills it hygienically without damaging the protein and other fragile components within.
This processing method produces super fine, clean fresh smelling powder with no flesh protein present. It is superior to traditional means of cleaning and processing and does not use harmful treatments such as chemicals, which may reduce therapeutic benefits.
In addition, only the best quality raw materials are sourced to ensure the integrity of our material.

SOME OF THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET THE MOST BENEFIT FROM THE USE OF SHARK CARTILAGE POWDER
What is shark cartilage?
Sharks are among the healthiest creatures on earth, sharks have survived virtually unchanged for 400 million years and are immune to almost every disease known to man. Scientists believe the shark's skeleton, made entirely of cartilage, is responsible for this ultra-immunity. Dr Carl Iver, a biochemist in Mote Marine Laboratory, Florida has tried feeding sharks in captivity an extremely potent cancer producing substance called aflatoxin. In nearly 8 years of research, and concentrated effort, he has been unable to produce a single cancer tumour in a shark. There are several different proteins in shark cartilage powder as well as a combination of other compounds including Chondroitin and Glucosamine.
Research on shark cartilage powder
A pharmaceutical company cannot take out a patent on a natural product like shark cartilage powder, therefore they cannot and will not spend millions in research on such a product - they are responsible to shareholders to return large profits. However, a lot of research has been done around the world on shark cartilage power - it hasn't become an accepted medical treatment as yet. Doctors have been reluctant to be involved in its use - however it is pleasing to note that more and more doctors are recommending the powder as an alternative treatment.
Side effects
In more than 10 years of research and use by many thousands, there have been very few side effects recorded in the use of shark cartilage powder. Some people have reported slight stomach upsets when taking large amounts orally and some people who have an allergy to seafood may have a reaction to shark cartilage powder.
Why a finer powder?
The reason for an extra fine powder is simple - the human stomach only has to work very little on the powder before it is absorbed into the blood stream. As a coarse powder spends more time in the stomach, digestive acids can destroy some of the active proteins in the powder. To achieve the best results with large doses of shark cartilage powder, take 3 separate doses per day on an empty stomach at least ½ hr before meal time.
Can other treatments help?
Definitely. It is proven in an overseas survey that in many cases, a stressful period of time is often a forerunner of disease as the immune system in the body is working less effectively. It is recommended that joining a treatment support group can introduce alternatives such as acupuncture, meditation, special diets, vitamins and many others to give yourself a better chance of fighting disease.
Can shark cartilage powder ever be cheap?
It is expensive to produce a good quality shark cartilage powder. Hygiene in the production of the powder is of the utmost importance, special care must be taken also in the manufacturing process so as not to destroy the active compounds in shark cartilage powder.
How to mix shark cartilage powder and how to judge quality
The powder may be mixed with tomato, nectarine, vegetable juices, milk or any other juice or simply water to which 2 drops of peppermint oil can be added. Shark cartilage powder should be slightly off white in colour and should not have too strong a smell and is quite easily taken with the abovementioned juices.
Marketing
We believe in distributing shark cartilage powder at an affordable price to enable more people to benefit from its use. We recommend the use of powder as it has a much lower production cost than capsules and represents signicant cost savings. However, empty capsules can be purchased from chemists and filled with the powder by the customer if this is preferred.
