ARTHRITIS
I am a male in my mid 40's. During my younger years I was very active physically and enjoyed many years of competitive swimming and competition squash. In the last 5 or so years I have been suffering with the onslaught of arthritis initially in my knees and more recently in both shoulders.
My orthopaedic surgeon arthroscopically cleaned and fixed my knees as well as he was able around 2 years ago, however, I am not able to have knee replacements just yet as I have been told that I am “too young”.
It was while enduring some degree of pain and being very restricted in the type of physical activities I was able to take on that I heard about shark cartilage and the benefit it has given many people who were suffering from the same degenerative bone condition as I was.
After taking shark cartilage for just 4-5 days I was aware of a substantial reduction of pain and the ability to walk a greater distance without becoming aware of pain I usually associated with this basic activity. After a week or two I was able to swim short distances without the clunking and reduced mobility in my left shoulder. I have been unable to swim effectively and without pain for the past 3-4 years.
The advantage of taking shark cartilage became even more obvious when I had to stop taking it two weeks before surgery to my left shoulder. I couldn't believe the difference in my quality of life just taking shark cartilage each morning has made for me personally, and I could not recommend it too highly for people whose mobility and lifestyle has been compromised due to the onset of arthritis.
